Product Details

TME Wafer Type Butterfly Valve – Slim-Seal Design for High Performance

“TME” offers a range of Wafer Type Butterfly Valves, developed with extensive application expertise and designed for optimal performance. Our Slim-Seal Concentric Design Butterfly Valves are engineered to deliver reliable, maintenance-free shutoff, providing a permanent gas-tight seal with either an integrally molded or replaceable elastomer body liner. These valves feature a streamlined body with two flange-locating holes for sizes up to 12″, and four holes for sizes 14″ and above, ensuring easy alignment during installation. The locating holes comply with ANSI B16.5 Class 125 & Class 150, as well as BS 10 Table D, E, F / PN 6, PN 10, PN 16, and other international standards. High-performance butterfly valves are also available with Full-Lug type bodies with raised faces and flanged end connections.

The TME Slim-Seal Body Seat Mechanism ensures low torque, tight shutoff with zero leakage, and long-lasting, smooth operation. These valves are compatible with a wide range of body, seat, and disc material combinations to meet diverse industrial needs, providing a compact actuator selection for seamless functionality across various applications.

  • Body Test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water. This test is performed after valve assembly and with disc in half position open, it is called as a body hydro test.
  • Seat Test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water.
  • Function / Operation Test: At the time of final inspection, each valve and its actuator (Flow-Control Lever / Gear / Pneumatic Actuator), under goes a complete operating test (Open/Close). This test carried out without pressure and at ambient temperature. It ensures the correct operation of the valve / actuator assembly with accessories such as solenoid valve, limit switches, air filter regulator etc.
  • Special Test: On request, any other test can be carried out according to special instruction by client.

“TME” Gate Valves are designed with Bolted Bonnet, Rising Spindle, and Outside Screw & Yoke (OS&Y) construction for durability and ease of operation. These valves are available in various designs—Solid Wedge, Flexible Wedge, Split Wedge, and Parallel Sliding Wedge—offering customers a range of options to suit their specific requirements. The deep stuffing box ensures long-lasting tightness and extended packing life, while a precisely machined and lapped backseat allows for gland packing replacement under pressure.

For special service needs, we provide extra-long, extended bonnet Gate Valves. Larger sizes and higher pressure classes are equipped with anti-friction thrust bearings in the yoke sleeve for smoother operation.

Any third-party agency can inspect all “TME” Gate Valves upon request and are available with a variety of operational mechanisms, including Lever, Gear, Pneumatic Cylinder, Hydraulic Cylinder, and Electrical Actuators, along with accessories such as solenoids, limit switches, and air filter regulators.

Swing Type Check Valves feature a bolted cover construction with a one-piece disc securely fastened to the hinge using a lock nut and pin. The free-rotating disc minimizes wear, while the hinge pin enhances wear resistance.

Specialized Features include options like titling disc design, dash pot arrangement, and outside lever and weight design, providing precise control over disc movement. For high-corrosive environments, P.T.F.E. (PFA/FEP) Lined Ball Type, Y Type, and Rubber Lined Flap Type Check Valves are available, ensuring superior corrosion resistance. These valves are suitable for vertical as well horizontal lines.

  • Body & Cover made from high quality casting with liberal sections. The castings are precision machined for high performance.
  • Body Seat Ring & Disc machined to close Tolerances providing smooth action and accurate seating.
  • Seat Ring Screwed in to the body are replaceable type. Seal welded type Seat Ring & Integral Seat cab also be offered on special request.

TME Wafer Type Butterfly Valve – Slim-Seal Design for High Performance

“TME” offers a range of Wafer Type Butterfly Valves, developed with extensive application expertise and designed for optimal performance. Our Slim-Seal Concentric Design Butterfly Valves are engineered to deliver reliable, maintenance-free shutoff, providing a permanent gas-tight seal with either an integrally molded or replaceable elastomer body liner. These valves feature a streamlined body with two flange-locating holes for sizes up to 12″, and four holes for sizes 14″ and above, ensuring easy alignment during installation. The locating holes comply with ANSI B16.5 Class 125 & Class 150, as well as BS 10 Table D, E, F / PN 6, PN 10, PN 16, and other international standards. High-performance butterfly valves are also available with Full-Lug type bodies with raised faces and flanged end connections.

  • Body Test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water. This test is performed after valve assembly and with disc in half position open, it is called as a body hydro test.
  • Seat Test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water.
  • Function / Operation Test: At the time of final inspection, each valve and its actuator (Flow-Control Lever / Gear / Pneumatic Actuator), under goes a complete operating test (Open/Close). This test carried out without pressure and at ambient temperature. It ensures the correct operation of the valve / actuator assembly with accessories such as solenoid valve, limit switches, air filter regulator etc.

Any third-party agency can inspect all “TME” Gate Valves upon request and are available with a variety of operational mechanisms, including Lever, Gear, Pneumatic Cylinder, Hydraulic Cylinder, and Electrical Actuators, along with accessories such as solenoids, limit switches, and air filter regulators.
