MS & GI Pipes

MS Pipe and MS Tube refers to Mild Steel Pipe or a Mild Steel Tubes GI pipes have a coating of zinc metal on bare steel pipe, through a molten zinc bath, ensuring a natural corrosion resistance, even in outdoor condition.  MS Black & GI Pipes are manufactured in different diameters for different applications. They have a carbon content of less than 0.25% which makes it malleable and ductile and relatively low tensile strength.

Their lightweight nature, while maintaining high bending and torsional strength, makes them ideal for manufacturing mechanical parts and engineering structures. They are also commonly used in furniture, kitchenware, and can be customized to specific requirements. Stainless steel pipes are classified into two types based on production methods: seamless and welded. Seamless pipes are further categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold-drawn, and extruded pipes, with cold-drawn and cold-rolled pipes being secondary processes. Welded pipes come in two forms: straight seam and spiral welded.

Additionally, stainless steel pipes are divided into round and special-shaped pipes based on their cross-sectional shapes. Special-shaped pipes include rectangular, rhombus, oval, hexagonal, octagonal, and various asymmetrical profiles. These pipes are widely used in structural parts, tools, and mechanical components. The production process of stainless steel seamless pipes includes several steps: round steel preparation, heating, hot rolling and perforation, cutting, pickling, grinding, lubrication, cold rolling, degreasing, solution heat treatment, straightening, pipe cutting, pickling, and final product inspection.
